Sumeet Sharma is an Assistant Professor in the Management Information Systems area at the Indian Institute of Management Rohtak. He holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Management Raipur, where his research focused on opportunistic behaviors in e-commerce platforms. His teaching and research interests lie in e-commerce platforms, platform governance, and business analytics.

With approximately six years of industry experience in software development and product management, he has held key roles at organizations such as Genpact India, Dassault Systèmes (formerly 3DPLM Software Solutions), Teradata Labs, and Jarvis Strategy & Technology Consulting. Additionally, he collaborated with the Reserve Bank of India on the data governance project.
