Dr. Priyanka Ghai (IIM Rohtak)

PROFILE

Dr. Ghai brings over eleven years of experience in teaching and research and has served as an Associate Professor. She completed her Masters in Law from the National Law University Delhi and has worked extensively on issues related to child rights, human rights, and constitutional law. Her doctoral research, titled The Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Amendment Act, 2016: A Critical Study of Educational Issues in a Constitutional Perspective, reflects her deep engagement with the intersection of child labour and educational policy.She has published widely in SCOPUS, Web of Science, and other reputed journals, and has contributed as an editor to several books. Alongside her academic writing, she has presented and participated in national and international conferences. She has also organised international conferences, webinars in collaboration with the National Commission for Women, and a range of workshops, training programmes, ADR sessions, and legal debatecompetitions.Her core areas of specialisation include Constitutional Law and Human Rights, with a focused research interest in educational dimensions of child labour. She has contributed to major legal scholarship as part of the editorial team assisting Honble Mr. Justice U. U. Lalit, Former Chief Justice of India, for Ratanlal & Dhirajlals Law of Crime: A Comprehensive Commentary on Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023.  She serves on the advisory boards of several reputed journals, international conferences, and symposiums. She is regularly invited as a judge for national and international moot court competitions and is also empanelled as an external examiner for dissertation evaluations in various colleges and universities.
